Account Registration
Eligibility and age verification
- Age and location: You may open an Account and use the Services only if you are at least 18 years old and physically located in Great Britain (England, Scotland or Wales) at the time of gambling. It is a criminal offence for anyone under 18 to gamble online in the UK.
- Single account: You may hold only one Account for Champion on chempion.bet. Multiple or duplicate accounts may be closed and balances consolidated or withheld in accordance with these Terms and regulatory requirements.
- Verification: In line with UKGC rules, we must verify your identity and age before you can deposit, gamble with real money or access bonuses. We will normally verify your details electronically using third-party agencies; where this is not possible, we may request copies of documents such as a passport or national ID, proof of address and, where appropriate, evidence of source of funds.
- Accuracy of information: You must provide full, accurate and up-to-date information during registration and throughout your relationship with us, including your legal name, date of birth, residential address, email and any other data we reasonably request. Providing false or misleading information may result in refusal of service, Account closure and reporting to relevant authorities.
KYC, source of funds and ongoing checks
- Know Your Customer (KYC): We conduct KYC checks at registration and on an ongoing basis in accordance with anti-money laundering ("AML") and counter-terrorist financing regulations, UKGC licence conditions and our internal policies. You agree to provide any additional documents we reasonably request at any time in 2025 to confirm your identity, address, payment methods and source of funds.
- Source of funds / wealth: We may at any time request evidence showing that the funds you use for gambling are from legitimate sources (for example, payslips, bank statements, business accounts, sale agreements). If you do not provide satisfactory evidence, we may suspend or close your Account and withhold or return funds as required by law or our regulatory obligations.
- Sanctions and risk screening: We may carry out sanctions, politically exposed person (PEP) and other risk-based checks. You consent to these checks and acknowledge that they may require us to delay deposits, withdrawals or gameplay while we complete our review.
Account security and user obligations
- Login details: You must keep your username, password and any other security credentials confidential and not share them with anyone. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your Account unless and until you have notified us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
- Security measures: We operate an ISO 27001-certified information security management system, but you must also take reasonable steps to secure your devices and networks (for example, using updated software and strong passwords). We are not responsible for losses arising from malware or unauthorised access to your device.
- Responsible gambling: During registration and thereafter you are encouraged to set deposit, loss or session limits and to use time-out or self-exclusion tools if needed. Where we identify markers of harm, we may contact you, adjust your limits, or suspend your Account to help protect you.
- Closure and self-exclusion: You may request Account closure or self-exclusion at any time via live chat or email to [email protected]. Self-exclusion may also apply to related brands operated by the Apex Entertainment group, including sister brands such as Vegas Crown and SpinsRoyal, in line with our safer gambling policies.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
Placing bets and game participation
- Accepted stakes: You may place bets only with available funds in your Account. A bet is accepted when it is confirmed by our systems and appears in your transaction history. Minimum and maximum stakes depend on the specific game and are displayed in the game interface or rules.
- Game rules prevail: Each game or product on chempion.bet is governed by its own rules and pay tables, provided either by us or by our approved software partners. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms and the specific game rules, the game rules will prevail for matters related to game mechanics and payouts.
- RNG and fairness: Our random number generator ("RNG") and games are tested and certified by independent laboratories to ensure fairness and compliance with UKGC requirements. RTP information is made available in game help files or on the Site.
Modification, cancellation and palpable errors
- Irreversibility: Once a bet has been placed and accepted by our systems, it cannot normally be cancelled or modified by you. It is your responsibility to check that the details of your bet are correct before confirming.
- Obvious errors: If a bet is accepted, or a result or payout is displayed, as a result of an obvious error or system malfunction (a "palpable error"), we may declare the bet void, adjust it to the correct terms, or cancel winnings based on the incorrect information. Where possible, we will restore your Account to the position it would have been in absent the error.
- Technical interruptions: If your connection is lost after you have placed a bet, the outcome will be determined by the game's servers. The final result and transaction recorded on our systems will be decisive. We will use reasonable efforts to ensure that you can view completed rounds once you reconnect.
Conduct in live casino and chats
- Prohibited behaviour: You must not engage in any abusive, threatening, discriminatory, obscene or otherwise inappropriate behaviour in live casino games, chat facilities or any other interactive features. You must not harass or insult other players, dealers or staff.
- Fraud and collusion: You must not use bots, scripts, VPNs to disguise your location, multi-accounting, chip dumping, collusion with other players or any other technique that gives you or others an unfair advantage or undermines game integrity.
- Enforcement: We may delete offensive chat messages, restrict or remove chat access, void bets, confiscate winnings, suspend or close Accounts and report suspected criminal or regulatory breaches to the relevant authorities where we reasonably believe that our rules have been violated.
Bonus Terms
Bonus activation and wagering
- Eligibility and activation: Bonuses and promotions are available only to eligible players who meet the specific criteria stated in the relevant promotional terms (for example, new customers for welcome offers, minimum deposit amounts, or specific promo codes). All promotional offers are limited to one per person, household, IP address, email and payment method unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Wagering requirements: Unless indicated otherwise, bonuses must be wagered a specified number of times (for example, 35x the bonus amount, or 35x the bonus plus deposit) before bonus funds and related winnings become withdrawable. Wagers that are cashed out, voided or placed on excluded games do not normally count towards wagering requirements.
- Time limits: Bonus funds and free spins are typically valid for a limited period (for example, 7-30 days from credit in 2025), as specified in the promotional terms. If wagering requirements are not met within the relevant timeframe, remaining bonus funds and any associated winnings may be forfeited.
Prohibited games and actions
- Game restrictions: Certain games or game categories (for example, some jackpot games, table games or low-risk bets such as even-money wagers in roulette) may be excluded from wagering or contribute less than 100% towards wagering requirements. A list of excluded or restricted games is provided in the applicable promotional terms and may be updated from time to time.
- Irregular play: Practices considered bonus abuse or irregular play include, without limitation, placing large bets to complete wagering quickly, reducing stake size after a large win, low-risk or zero-risk betting, hedging bets across multiple outcomes, collusion with other players, using multiple accounts, and wagering patterns inconsistent with normal recreational play.
- Group-wide abuse: Where we identify patterns of promotional abuse across Champion and related brands in the Apex Entertainment group (including, where relevant, Vegas Crown and SpinsRoyal), we may withdraw or deny bonuses, void bonus-derived winnings and close or link Accounts as permitted by law and our licence conditions.
Combining promotions and bonus management
- Non-combination: Unless expressly permitted in the specific promotional terms, promotions cannot be used in conjunction with each other. If you claim multiple offers that are not intended to be combined, we may cancel one or more bonuses and adjust balances accordingly.
- Bonus priority: When both real-money and bonus funds are available, stakes may be deducted in a predetermined order (for example, bonus funds first or real funds first), as set out in the promotional or Site rules. The applicable order of play will be explained in the relevant offer or help pages.
- Right to withdraw offers: We may withdraw or amend any promotion at our discretion for future participation, provided that such changes do not adversely affect bonuses already accepted and not yet fully used, except where required for legal, regulatory or security reasons. In such cases, we will act fairly and in line with UK consumer protection guidance.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposits
- Payment methods: Deposits can be made using the payment methods displayed in the cashier section, which may include debit cards, e-wallets and bank transfers. Champion may from time to time support additional methods where permitted by UK law; if we ever support crypto-linked payments, they will be offered only in compliance with UK regulatory requirements.
- Ownership of payment instruments: You must use only payment methods that are registered in your own name. We may request evidence of ownership (such as bank statements or card screenshots) and may reject or reverse deposits made from third-party accounts.
- Processing and limits: Deposits are usually credited to your Account immediately but may take longer due to bank or payment provider processes. Minimum and maximum deposit amounts are shown in the cashier and may vary by method and over time in 2025.
Withdrawals
- Withdrawal conditions: Withdrawals may be requested at any time, subject to verification checks, completion of any applicable wagering requirements and these Terms. We may, in line with AML obligations and UKGC rules, require additional documentation before processing withdrawals.
- Method and timeframe: Where possible, withdrawals will be processed back to the same payment method used for deposit. Processing times typically range from a few hours up to several business days, depending on internal checks and the payment provider. We endeavour to process approved withdrawals promptly, but delays may occur for security, regulatory or technical reasons.
- Fees and currency: We aim not to charge withdrawal fees, but reserve the right to apply reasonable charges for excessive withdrawal requests or where we incur third-party costs. The primary account currency for Champion is GBP; currency conversions, if any, are carried out by your bank or payment provider at their rates.
Refunds, chargebacks and dormant balances
- Refunds: Deposits are generally non-refundable once used for betting. In limited circumstances and at our discretion, we may agree to a refund of unused deposit funds, subject to necessary checks and to the reversal of related bets or bonuses.
- Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without valid cause, we may suspend or close your Account, deduct the disputed amount and any associated costs from your balance, and report the matter to relevant authorities or databases used to prevent fraud.
- Dormant accounts: Where an Account remains inactive (no log-ins, bets or transactions) for a prolonged period, we may classify it as dormant and apply procedures as set out on the Site, always in accordance with UK consumer and gambling regulations. You will be notified in advance where required.
Protection of customer funds
- Segregation and disclosure: Player funds are held in designated accounts in accordance with UKGC requirements. The level of protection for customer funds in the event of insolvency is described in the "Protection of customer funds" statement on chempion.bet. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood that statement.
- No interest: You are not entitled to interest on funds held in your Account, and we may retain any interest that accrues on player balances.
Limitation of Liability
Our obligations and service standards
- Fair and compliant operation: We will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care, in a manner consistent with our UKGC licence conditions and applicable law. This includes using certified RNGs and approved game suppliers, operating an ISO 27001-certified information security management system and maintaining appropriate policies for AML, responsible gambling and customer protection.
- Accuracy of information: We use reasonable efforts to ensure that information on chempion.bet, including odds, game rules, RTP figures and promotional details, is accurate and up to date in 2025. However, minor errors, typographical mistakes or outdated content may occasionally occur, and we reserve the right to correct such information without prior notice.
Exclusions and limitations
- Technical and network issues: Access to the Services may be interrupted or delayed by factors beyond our reasonable control, including internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, denial-of-service attacks or third-party service disruptions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising solely from such events.
- Indirect losses: To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses or damages, including loss of profits, business, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.
- Cap on liability: Subject to the paragraph below, our total aggregate liability to you in respect of any claim arising from a particular bet or game outcome will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount of the stake that gave rise to the relevant claim; or (b) the amount of winnings due in respect of that stake (or the amount actually credited, if lower).
- Non-excludable liability: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UK law. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
- Gambling risk: You acknowledge that gambling involves financial risk and that you may lose money. You are solely responsible for your decisions to use the Services and for managing your play within your personal circumstances and limits.
